Tipped off by my pals in Tjutjuna and Woodsman, I made it down to see Young Prisms at the Hi-Dive last month.  This particular show was an opening slot at a sold-out show for Denver favorites Snake Rattle Rattle Snake.  If you like what you hear, definitely check out Friends for Now (on Kanine Records) or their Self-titled EP (on Mexican Summer).

Tomorrow brings the release of Celebration, Florida, an album from the The Felice Brothers which showcases a new musical direction for the group.  You can order the album directly from Fat Possum, or pick it up at one of the many East Coast tour dates planned this month.  The band came through Denver last week and played a sold-out show at the Hi-Dive, performing many songs from the new record.
