A Setting Science (Mark Shusterman and Scott Beck) took a slightly different approach to Denver Does Denver this year.  Instead of working up material by other local bands, they collaborated with filmmaker Rett Rogers, providing an instrumental score to his silent film based around 1930’s Denver imagery.

Leah Orlikowski threw the CD release party for her debut album, Shaking Hands With Love & Death, on the Meadowlark outdoor stage this spring.  All but the last song played appear on the disc, which can be purchased through Cage Free Records.
